The Wicksteed Park Railway plays host to a number of different events during the year, including:
| Wedding Trains One of the best things about holding your wedding or reception at Wicksteed Park is that you get a train ride for free! Most Saturday evenings throughout the summer months, the railway stays open late into the evening to cater for the wedding parties. The train is of course suitably adorned with white ribbons and “just married” banners! The wedding trains prove again that the Railway is increasingly an independent feature within the Park, and very diverse in whom it caters for.

| Steam In The Park 2010 The Wicksteed Park Railway has always been a diesel locomotive only railway, however, in 2005, the railway was host to its first visiting steam locomotive. The event proved so popular that we repeated it in 2006 and is now an annual event. It has grown each year and this year is no exception. Exhibitors are always welcome, please contact us for details.
Steam in the Park 2010 is the 3rd and 4th of July. There will be three visiting steam locomotives, steam boats on the lake and other steam attractions around the Station area. The two original 1931 Wicksteed Park engines will be on display during the event - King Arthur is likely to used for shunting at the station. The visiting engines are confirmed as Jennie from the Amerton Railway and the Gully family, Peter Pan owned by Graham Morris, and Thomas Wicksteed from Kew pumping station.
The Wicksteed Summer Beer Festival will also be taking place during this weekend. 40+ beers and ciders, hot food and live music all weekend. For more information please contact railway.wicksteed@tiscali.co.uk Please click here for more information
