Wicksteed Park, since it was first opened, has welcomed its visitors with open arms.  One of the long term appeals of the Park has been the fact that visitors could park, within reason, where they liked and get access to their vehicles at any time during their visit.  This in itself had a number of benefits, one of which was the fact that visitors could create their own picnic areas. 

There are a number of picnic benches around the Park for customers to use, but many still prefer to use their own car blanket!

Also, there are now some brick built BBQ's at the far side of the Park, built for customers to enjoy the most peaceful part of the Park, next to the Caravan site and dog exercise area.  These BBQ's cannot be pre-booked and are available on a first-come-first served basis.

Please be responsible and take your litter away with you.  Do not leave hot BBQ's near your vehicle and please do not discard hot coals into plastic litter bins or into areas of dry leaves.  Thank you.
