Current Roles:

Zip Wire Manager - 10 month contract, average 30 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced person to operate and maintain the newest attraction at Wicksteed Park. The ideal person will have a taste for adventure, a personal commitment to physical fitness, product knowledge, exceptional customer service skills and a thorough understanding of health and safety implications, preferably having held a similar role.  Please see the job description below:

      Volunteers Needed for Wicksteed Park

      Wicksteed Park, which is owned by the Wicksteed Trust, needs people to help maintain its status as a Grade II English Heritage Listed Park & Garden.

      Volunteers are being sought to help with just about every aspect of running the Park including: car parking; gardening; general maintenance; publicity; waterways management, and many more.

      Additionally there are a number of volunteer positions such as Playground Supervisors, daffodil sales (for Charity), duck food sales (to raise money for the upkeep of the aviary) and FOH stewards to show guests to their seats in the new Pavilion 50's & 60's daytime Show, 'Rockin' Around the Clock'.

      Park Management will be delighted to hear from people with any time to spare with either a specific skill or simply a desire to just help out at this much loved historic Park.
